ANGLE PARKING
(To tiie Editor of the Herald.) Sir, —The above heading certainly is of some interest to vour correspondents, and. proves that your paper is of some value, for it is read and the readers are enlightened. The letter in last night’s Herald signed "Yexata Qr.aestio” calls for comment. In the iirst place he'admits two main objections, the cars over-run-ning the kerb, and the space taken when backing out. He also admits that tips danger docs exist for the less experienced driver. All drivers have their ticket, and I think a new chum at the wheel would prefer a quieter street than Gladstone road when he wished to park. Also I think it would be. hard to school all the car drivers with his manoeuvres before they would grasp it. It has been proved a dangerous practice.—Yours, etc., . J. li. SMITH,
