The. market for store sheep showed little change on recent safes, with empty ewes not selling so briskly. The s a.ding was small and all the. large pens ’were ollered before lunch. Breeding i-rv.s showing signs of good lambing ranged from 20s 3d to 245, and empty ewes of good quality 13s 3d to 14s 2d. lloggcts brought 21s 4d for a pen of realty good wethers, with good shorn at 19s 9d. Ewes with over ICO per tent, of lambs sold at 28s 9d, a little easier than recent values. Prices :

DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETS PRICES 1/- A CWT HIGHER A slight improvement lias taken place in the price of New Zealand butter and cheese in Loudon, and quotations received 10-day arc Is per cwt. higher than la week ago. The market is reported to be firm at (lie increased rates. At the present level of 117 s per cwt., butter is worth nearly 14d per lb., f.0.b., equal to a Inilterla! payment in suppliers of ldjd per lb., under the old scheme of tree marketing.
