SARAZEN & HELEN HICKS GISBORNE NEXT TUESDAY On the Poverty Bay Golf Club's Awapuni links next Tuesday afternoon, commencing at 1.30 o’clock, Gene Sarazen and Miss Helen Hicks will give a golf exhibition, playing a four-ball match against two Gisborne male players. Sarazen is one of the most brilliant exponents of golf in the world to-day and in 1932 was winner of the world’s championship. Miss Helen Hicks is one ot the foremost American lady players and has a reputation for bard and accurate bitting. After flie match flic two visitors will (jive a demonstration of golf shots, and doubtless this will give an indication of flic absolute control these good players have over the golf ball.
