SNOWBALLING OF CARS

QUESTION IN THU HOUSE (Per Press Association.) WKLLINGTON, this day. fa the House, of Representatives yesterday, hir. T. 11. McCombs (fail)., Lyttelton) asked the Minister of Transport if his attention had been drawrt to reports of the snowballing of motor cars, and the danger involved in such a practice. The Hon. It. Semple said he had seen the reports. He recognised the danger of the practice, and said that; the police already had power to take proceedings against offenders, but in order to tighten up the law, he would go into tlie matter with the Commissioner of Transport.
