BOXER CLAIMS FOUL
REFUSAL TO CONTINUE RAYNER-REEKLE BOUT (Ptsr Press Acsoclalion.) BLENHEIM, last night. Forty-eight hours after making the featherweight limit for a title bout which did not eventuate Clarrie Rayner, Blenheim, to-night met Alf Reekie, of Australia, in a lightweight contest. The match was scheduled for 1!i rounds but ended unsatisfactorily in the third when Reekie claimed a foul, and the referee, Mr. P. O'Neill (Greymouth) ordered him to continue. When lie refused the referee awarded Rayner the bout. Art examining doctor said lie discoverer! no evidence of a foul.
