FISHING BOAT ASHORE

WEST COAST MISHAP

CREW OF THREE SAFE

(Per Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Ibis day. The fishing vessel, Tiani Anani, which went to sea on Tuesday morning, broke her cranking handle in the afternoon and the vessel lay at sea since. This morning an attempt was made to sail over the bar, but the wind fell and the vessel drifted into the breakers, washing ashore half a mile northwards. The crew of three are all safe. They had been short of food and water while aboard.
