"ST. JOAN" QUOTATION LONDON', May 11. Dame Sybil Thorndike recited a passage from "St. Joan" when she delivered the address last, night at Chelsea Congregational Church, Markka m square, S.W. Her address, which occupied -10 minutes, wa.s delivered .on the invitation of tho pastor, the Rov. G. Doroon Hopewell, who is one of Britain's few women Free Church ministers.

"It was one of the most enjoyable addresses wo have, heard," the pastor said afterwards.
