RETURN ATLANTIC TRIP
LINER QUEEN MARY AVERAGE 28.74 KNOTS (Reed. June 11, noon.) LONDON, June 10. Fog held up the. White Star-Cunard liner Queen Mary in the Channel and she anchored off Cherbourg at 9.15,a.m. on her voyage from New York.
Her official time from Ambrose Light to Cherbourg was 111 hours 15 minutes. Her average speed was. 23.74 knots. The Queen Mary entered Southampton docks at 3.15 p.m. She was beautifully handled. The first passengers disembarked within 15 minutes.
