SHOT INTO CREEK
OCCUPANTS OF CAR COLLISION WITH RRIDCIE (Per Pross Association.) DANNEVTCKE, this day. While going from Dannevirke to a dance at Woodville last evening a car containing four Dannevirke and two Kiiitaki residents struck the concrete bridge on the main road about four miles from Woodville. The car remained where it struck, and the occupants were all shot into a creek containing several feet of water. They were rescued by the driver of the car. Cyril Albert White, who was unhurt, and a motorist who was following. Only one person was seriously injured.' A youth, Trevor Drinkwater. ol Dannevirke, had a leg broken. Other members of the party, including two young women, suffered from abrasions and shock-, but not seriously.
