COOK STRAIT FLIGHTS

18 CROSSINGS YESTERDAY (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. _ Eighteen crossings of Cook Strait were made yesterday by aeroplanes. The pianos in the regular Blenheim-Nelson-Wellington service accounted for eight, and there woro two more by air liners living between Palmerston North and Dunedin. In addition, eight flights from island to island were made by Moths.
