As ii result of the crews of the l'akura and Pukeko refusing to lake the vessels to sea until demands regarding sustenance pav for seamen at Port Ahuriri had been completed, Mr. K. Mclieay, principal of the firm of Messrs. Richardson and Company, Limited, attended a conference of the crews of both vessels on board the Pakuia at Napier on Friday, when a satisfactory agreement ' was reached.
