The best powder puff case was won "by Mrs. Taylor. Mrs. Martin coming second. The trades table in charge of Mrs. Branson was a success, many useful articles being for sale. - The president, Mrs. Halliwell, was appointed to represent the Matakaoa institute at the annual conference tc rtp held in Dunedin. *A very nice afternoon tea was enjoyed, the hostesses being Mesdames (Vlurtagh, Tyrell, Ryan and Fan-brother-During the afternoon the members joined' itC community singing, Mrs. Clark being the accompanist. The meeting was "brought to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
