The National Socialist congress passed unanimously a vote of confidence in the Prime Minister-elect, M. Leon Blum, after hearing his speech in which he delivered a warning against Fascism. lie .said that the Socialist Utopia could not yet be expected, adding that the working class must realise the impossibility of dissociating class action from political action, though it was natural that, following a long period of misery, the proletariat should manifest, impatience when it seized power. Nevertheless, all its movements must bo controlled by the Trades Unions. The new Government would not be a Koronsky Government, but even if il were, no Benin would succeed il. The programme of the Popular Front, including the Radicals, would be executed, fascism was on the watch. Its aim everywhere had been to destroy tho workers' associations and subordinate them to capitalism. The present regime could now utilise scientific and economic developments for the general ilis party must continue' its own mission by constructing a new system. IT he failed, he would be the first to toll his followers it was a chimera and a vain dream. Kven so, the party would lie hit only temporarily. The truth of Socialism would not be affected. France's voice would br heard throughout t lie world with increased power in support of peace, com- . ple'te, indivisible and disarmed.
