ALLEGATION OF FORGERY

Harold York Thompson, aged 85 veai-s, a solicitor, of Parramatta, who was brought back from Adelaide, appeared in the Pity Court to-day charged with having uttered a forged memorandum of transfer under the Real Properly Act, purporting to he signed by Arthur. Jordan, with intent to defraud. He was remanded until June 11, hail being allowed in the sum of 91000. ITc was ordered in re]wrl daily lo tin' police. Detective Sergeant. Clifford gave evidence that the audit accounts had not, been completed, whereupon the police prosecutor told the court that Thompson had said the amount- involved was between £10(10 and £4OOO.
