A well-known Auckland merchant, Mr. George Charles Gilmore, of Remueva, died on Saturday evening .at the age of 85, r.fter a. long illness. Air. Gilmore was horn at Cuttack. Bengal, ltis father being commissioner for the least India Company in that province.
