TABLE SAVES WOMAN
bomb through window HALIFAX (Nova Scotia), April 4. A heavy oak table has saved the lives of Airs. Hurtling, a London woman, and her husband. _ They were in their house at Halifax when a heavy brass ease with revolver bullets and cordite inside was hurled through a window and exploded. The house was wrecked, but Mr. and Afrs. Hurtling escaped because the table diverted the explosion. away from them. Police are investigating footprints outside. Airs. Hartling was formerly Miss Afarion Dobson.
