SHIPPING IN PACIFIC

LULL IN NEGOTIATIONS INFORMATION AWAITED .(Reed. Mav 27, 11.50 a.m.) ' LONDON, May 26. The Associated Press understands that the reason for the lull in the Pacific shipping negotiations is that the companies are studying the requests of the British and the Dominions Governments for detailed information of their profits on all lines in which they are concerned.

It is understood that the companies have been informed that if a subsidy is granted in the Pacific, it will take account not only of losses there, but of profits on other routes.
