Federal Judge Jeremiah Noierer signed a fluid decree holding the Vinerican Mail Line liable for £lS,i).i."> damages to four navigation companies, caused when the liner President Madison broke loose here in a gale on Ostober 21, ITU. ’The liner crashed into three vessels moored nearby, sinking one and also damaging several o'] barges and tugs.
