She is' taking coal and posts for Gisborne and coal for I’okomnru Bay. The New. Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera arrived at Tokomaru Bay this morning from Auckland. The vessel should complete loading there tomorrow, when she will sail for Napier. The Pukeko clears Auckland to-night with cargo for Coast bays. Gisborne and Napier. The ship arrives, here on Thursday and will sail the same day for Napier. The Pakurn was to have left Wellington last evening for Napier and Gisborne. SHIPS RACE WITH COAL LONDON, April 13. Tramp ships on their way from Britain to Canada are racing to Montreal. They carry the first seasonal consignments of British coal to the Dominion. In accordance with time-honoured custom, the choice, of a top hat or walking stick awaits the skipper of the first, vessel to arrive. Last year nearly one and threequarter million tons of British coal were sent to Canada.
