WAIKATO STOCK VALUES OFFERINGS FROM GISBOENE Offerings of sheep and cattle from Oisborne were yarded in the Morrinsville stock sale on'Friday. ' The Farmers' Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports: — The advertised entry of store wethers attracted buyers from outside districts and a total clearance was effected at fully late rates. A full yarding of all classes of breeding ewes included the specially advertised lines from the East Coast districts. These were submitted to a large and representative bench of buyers from all parts of the Waikalo and advanced, prices were realised, especially for young sheep, the whole of the entry changing hands at, increased rates. A small"entry' of store bullocks from the East Coast was penned and, although they were in good order, they did not attract competition up to previous sales. A good yarding of dairy cattle, came forward. The advertised entry of heifers from Gisborne were not showing as far forward as expected and competition was not as keen ns anticipated.
