DIRT-TRACK RIDER LONDON, April 5. The Harringay Speedway Club made an offer of £7OOO to the Hellevue Club, Manchester, as a transfer fee for Max Grosskreutz, the Queensland dirt-track rider, but the offer was not accepted. The previous record transfer price was £2OOO. Bellevue is now negotiating for V. Huxley, the, New South Wales rider. Grosskmitz's share of the. transfer fee would have been £IOSO.
