MELBOURNE THEATRE NEARLY £2OOO TAKEN MELBOURNE, April 14. Two masked and' armed men visited lioyt’s picture theatre in Bourke street in the city to-day, locked three members of the office staff in the strong-room, and escaped in a waiting motor-car with the complete holiday takings, amounting to nearly £2OOO. The money was contained in two leather bags/ ready for banking. The men were followed by a cleaner into Little Bourke street, but were out of sight before a policemen could be located.
