Sports Clothes For The Winter Games
OPORTS clothes for the winter games wore more attractive than ever at Home lust winter. These clothes always demand warmth, comfort, and tailored lines, which make them suitable for the occasion, and this is particularly true of the sports field. Hats of the pull-on variety are definitely the most popular. They tilt sharply over one eye, with the brim curving away from the forehead, thus displaying a neat coiffure, an essential feature of any sportswoman's appearance. Gloves of a matching colour with the 'hat are particularly smart. Chamois leather is being featured in all gloves, blouses, and jackets this season. One of the most important developments in sports fashions abroad is the almost universal use of the trouserskirt, usually with a disguising front wrap. Suede coatees, with small breast pockets and sleeveless, have proved to be much-in favour with the golfers overseas. Frocks of Jersey wool have also made their appea'rance on the courses, and their tailored lines have won much admiration. Velvet has come into its own again, and is making its debut this season in scarves and stocks. For sports clothes any vivid combination of colours is recommended ■ this season.
