DERHAPS outclassing all the recruits * front the operatic stage so far to join film circles, Miss Lily Pons, blessed with a (beautiful voice and a personality which is charm itself, is thrice welcohie in her cinematic debut, "I Dream Too Much." Miss Pons, whose tiny person harbours a Yoke of superb quality, Papers through the trifling tale of "I fircam Too Much" as though she were of the. films since their inception. There is lio seif-conseiousness, no grand opera air about her playing. She acnUlly creates a character out of an otherwise stilted scenario figure. Of couMe, it is her singing which U the main; consideration. "I Dream Too Much" tells of the experience of a young French girl #ho marries an'egotistical composer. She jbves him and seeks to have his dpertt presented in Paris. However, it is her voice which attracts the opera ihbuse nis*nager',<* attention. ThencefjrtrtK sfce rises.to fame and fortune. yeVsfte isf Unhappy because her hus•Wtjwjfi »Vowe4 under ; by his wife's popularity, is unhappy. As conventional, as they come, the story almost takes on an air of credibility in Miss I'ons'hands. •
