Nash, said In 1 had received a number .of inquiries asUini>; his- advice, and his invariable reply to mortgagors was to ntilise till the existing provisions under the Mortgagors Relief and other Acts. When the Government's legislation lor the adjustment of mortgages was introduced later in the year the benefits provided would be made, available to those who had taken advantage, of the existing facilities to th.e same extent as. to those who had not done so. ' Rural mortgages. Mr. Nash added, must bei adjusted to values associated with guaranteed prices, and urban mortgages, to present-clay property values. The" Government would take the necessary steps to achieve, that purpose at the earliest convenient' rnorjient.
