LAUNCHING THE MATUA
UNION COMPANY SHIP (Reed. March 20, 2.20,.p.m.) LONDON, March 25. The Union Steam Ship Company's 4000-ton passenger and freighter, the Matuu, was launched at Hawthorn Leslie's ward, ITehbnrn. The vessel was christened by Mrs. Cowan, the wife of the London chairman of the company.
