PRIEST TO OPERATE PLANE
TORONTO, Jan. 13.
Stocky, jovial Father ,T. M. Couture, a 50-year-old Jesuit priest, and missionary, came out of the north to-day to qualify for a private air pilot's license at a local airport. Administering to 2000 Chippewa Indians in his big* "parish" between Lake Superior and Hudson Bay, Father Couture has already flown about 50,000 miles as passenger or co-pilov. Now he wants to fly himself about on his rounds. While here lie will negotiate for a modest cabin plane.
