Reed. 10 a.m. RUGRY, March 9. The Ministry of Labour reports that at February 24 there were approximately 10,475,000 persons in employment in Britain. This was 1,268,000 more than at January 20, and. 378,000 more than at the corresponding date of last year. The numbers of unemployed persons on the. register at February 24 totalled 2,025,021 which was 134,701 less than at January 20, and 260,442 less than at the corresponding date of last year. The February total of unemployed included 309,357 women and 61,784 girls.
