Three overseas steamers readied Sew. Zealand in ballast during the weekend to load for Great Britain. the Mamnri. arrived at Oainaru on Saturday from London and on Sunday the Port Caroline arrived at Bluff from New* castle-on-Tvna, and the Turakina arrived at Tiinaru'from Liverpool. Also in ballast from England the H’lirunui is due at New Plymouth on Friday, and the Pakeba is due at New Plymouth on Monday. The Hororata is ilu'e at Opitit from Liverpool on March 20 and the Port Hunter is due at Auckland from Glasgow on March 23. Other steamers en route to New Zealand in ballast indude the Kumara, due oii'Mareb 30: the Maimoa, due on March 20: and the Mahana, due on April 2. In addition the motor-ship Australia Star is due at Gisborne from Australia on March '2l to load in New Zealand.
