"VTOTICE is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on the 17th day. of March. 1936, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the yum of £23,000, for the purposes of the renewal of the present wharf. The security for the loan to be. a special rate of 3/16 of a penny in the pound (£) over the Tokomaru Harbour Special Rating Area. It is not proposed to levy the Special Rate but to pay the interest and other charges out of Revenue. The Loan charges will not affect the Revenue as there will be ample surplus revenue collected from the present harbour dues, etc., to meet the yearly charges in connection with this loan. Any person having any objection to tho proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Waiapu County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
