To-day's North Island Report Blue skies were reported north of Oisborne this morning, but overcast conditions were reported furl her south. Moderate to strong southerly breezes were general. The barometer had risen rapidly since yesterday. Temperatures a I 9 o'clock we're: Auckland 63 degrees. Tauranga 62, Opotiki and Oisborne 59, East Cape SSL Napier 56, and Welling lon 53. .Bough seas were reported at Wellington, Cape I'alliser. and ICasl Cape; elsewhere moderate to smooth.
