END OF ABERHART
PREDICTED FOR 1937 CALCURY K.C. FORESEES CRISIS
VANCOUVER, Jan. 23.
It you want a guessi at the length of life of the Ab,erhart Social Credit Government in Alberta, Mr. A. Macleod Sinclair, K.C, Calgary barrister, gives yon 4ugust, 1937. Mr .Sinclair thinks that the present Government in Alberta will swim along to a crisis next summer, probably on the date that Mr. Aberhart now sets for the commencement of social credit dividends. _ , ' ; That is my guess after observing actions and weighing possibilities of the Government," he told The Province. "The attitude of some of the supporters of social credit reminds me of the story about the man who related that he was swimming in tropical waters. A shark attacked him. Hesaid he drew his knife and killed the shark. A listener asked him where he gob the knife. To which question the narrator retorted, 'You're too d particular.' " Mr. Sinclair m.ikes the rueful admission that his efforts on the jrolitieal platform against the Social C'redTt partv were unsuccessful. He spoke for 28 candidates. All but one lost their deposits.
