The monthly meeting of Te Hapara School Committee was held last evening when Mr. J. Jackson, the. chairman, j, presided overt a good attendance of j members. A letter was received from { the Hawke’s Bay Education Board regarding the proposed additions to the fuel shed, and requesting the secretary. Mr. D. Tarr, to supply a plan. the report of the headmaster, Mr. Anderson, showed that there were 404 childi ren on the roll. The annual statement of d accounts was presented by the secretary, who mentioned that they were §• ready for posting to the Education V Board for audit.
