ITALY’S PROPAGANDA
BROADCAST FOR INDIA BOMBAY, Jan. 14. Italian propaganda ,oa the Abyssinian war is now being broadcast in Hindustani. The Rome broadcasts are heard easily throughout the East. Two nights ago special reference was made to allegations that Italian forces had bombed Red Cross units. These were ffiitly denied, and it was added that the Abyssinian,s were known to be abusing the Red Cross sign and carrying arms and ammunition under its protection. Finally, listeners were fold that a broadcast, in Hindustani would be transmitted from Rome periodically. Attention was recently called iri the House of Commons to the frequent broadcasting in Arabic of Italian propaganda for reception in Palestine anil Trails,jordania.

The use of broadcasting in support of sum-lions against Italy is to be discussed ul a conference to be called by the League Council this month.
