YOUNG MAN DROWNED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Bathing in the, Hutt River at Maori Bank tins afternoon. .Tames Samuel Sampson, a cleric, a single.man, aged u 7, of •">•"> Owen street. Newtown, was drowned. lie went to Upper Hutt with a picnic party. It was noticed that he liiid disappeared. Several members of the party dived in attempts to find him. Litter, tlic body was discovered on ilic bottom of the river in 30ft. of water. Artificial respiration failed
