BOA DECAPITATED

AN UNDESIRABLE ALIEN N.Z. ENTRY REFUSED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day.. An undesirable alien, denied admission to still snakeless New Zealand, a beautifully-mottled, five-foot boa constrictor brought all the way from Panama City aboard the Remuera, is dead. On Thursday, in the presence oi officials, he was; doped and decapitated before the Remuera left Wellington for Auckland.

The snake was the property of Mr E. W. Scott, editor of a Spanish-Ameri-can newspaper in Panama, .who is at present on a holiday visit to New Zealand. Mr Scott said on his arrival that he desired to present the boa to the Wellington Zoo. He declared the snake to Customs officials, but permission to bring it ashore was not forthcoming.
