MR. C. J. MCKENZIE ILL
SUDDEN INDISPOSITION Mr. C. J. MeKenzie, engineer in chic) of the Public Works Department, who has been touring the West. Coast, with the Hon. 11. Semplo and the Hon. P. C. Webb, was suddenly taken ill at Welieka on Tuesday and taken to llokitika in an aeroplane 'of Air Travel (New Zealand). Limited.
Mr. McJvenzie's- condition* was such that it. was intended that he should be admitted to the Westland Public Hospital at llokitika, and arrangements were made for an ambulance to take him from the aerodrome to the hospital, but. when he arrived at. llokitika he was much better, and a medical examination showed that he was suffering only from overwork. It was not considered necessary for him to enter hospital, and be went byi train to an hotel in Greymonth. ' He was accompanied by Mr: F. T. M. Kissel!, chief electrical engineer ol the department, duly rest, is required.
