Doubles.—First round : Mesdames Pitcaithly and Gamble beat Mesdames Thomson and Bartlett, 26-9; Mrs. Brass and the Rev. W. Tye beat Mrs. Bryan and J. C. Bryan, 26-16. Second round: K. W. Veitc'h and Mrs. Caldow beat Mesdames Hartnell and Dukes, 26-6; Mesdames Carson and Given beat Mrs. Bassett and R. W. McCreath, 26-16. Level singles.—Miss CollinsOn beat Mrs. Burnett, 26-3. Ladies' championship.-—Second life, second round: Miss Keatley beat. Mrs. Simpson. 26-14; Mrs. Wood beat Mrs. Glass, 26-24.
