SUNDAY WRESTLING

ENGLISH COURT ACTION LONDON, Nov. 3. The legality of Sunday all-in wrestling is to bo chaflenged in the courts. Air. Harold Lane, the sporting promoter, has been summoned to appear at West London Police-court on Tuesday under the Sunday Observance Act, in connection with an all-in wrestling show at Hammersmith on October 6. The Act dates from 1780. Information has been laid by Mr. Edward Norton Douglas Bell, a solicitor’s managing clerk. A High Court writ lias been issued against Mr. Lane by l Mr. Eric Edward Kitchener, in connection witli Sunday all-in wrestling on July 21 and July 28 at. Hammersmith. The writ claims £4OO as having been forfeited by Mr. Lane under an Act of George 111.
