FEATS AT NAPIER VAULT AND TWO MILES (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, last night. Two New Zealand records were broken at McLean Park, on Saturday evening. Ted Winter, of New South Wales, who established a New Zealand pole vault record last Thursday by clearing the bar at 12ft l}in., bettered this performance by clearing the bar at 12ft. 2iim C. Matthews, Canterbury*, covered the two mile run in 9min. ISsec., thereby beating Rose’s record of Omin. 20 1-fisec., established at Nelson in 1927.
