MINING PAY DISPUTE
CONFERENCE ARRANGED WORKERS AND OWNERS (British' Official Wireless.) Reed. 9.00 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 14. Tn connection with the dispute arising out of the demand by mineworkers for an increase in wages, the colliery owners have invited representatives of the Federation of Mineworkers to a meeting. The invitation has been accepted and the meeting, in which nine representatives of each side are to take part, has been fixed for next Tuesday. The miners’ delegate conference is due to reassemble to consider the whole question on the following day.
