BATH PROVES FATAL
LONDON MAN AGED SO LONDON, Oct. 24. “Don’t put me in the bath! I have never had a bath! It will kill me!” was the protest of a man of SO years of age against a routine proceeding in a London hospital, as reported at an inquest held yesterday by Dr. Edwin Smith, the Battersea coroner. Despite his struggles, nurses forced I lie man into the bath tub, and lie died of “reflex syncope,” according to the medical report. “There are some persons who are entire strangers to baths,” observed the coroner. 1; I.
