SEARCH FOR ELLSWORTH
AUSTRALIAN PROPOSAL REQUEST FOR SHIP CANBERRA, Dee. 2. The Federal Cabinet has under ronsideration the dispatch of an Australian expedition to the Antarctic to search for Messrs. Lincoln Ellsworth and Hallock Kenyon, who have not been heard from since 4 o'clock in the afternoon of November 23, eight hours after they left Dundee Island in the Polar Star to make a trans-Antarctic flight. Cablegrams have been sent _to the British Government asking permission to utilise the services of the British research ship Discovery 11, which is due at Fremantle shortly.
