SECOND INNINGS FAILURE
TARRANT'S TEAM'S TOUR (Reed. Dec. 3, noon.) BOMBAY, Dec. 2. In the match against Tarrant's Australian cricketers—who in the first innings declared with eight wickets down for 468 runs—Bombay, in the first innings made 241, Jai scoring 59 and Havewalla 71. The latter's driving was magnificent, and his score included six sixes and four fours. Mair took five wickets for 101; Leather, three for 60; and Hendry, two for 14. Following on, Bombay made a poor stand in the second, and scored 171 for seven wickets, Jai making 115, The match was drawn.
