RACING AT TRENTHAM
THE SUMMER PROGRAMME SEMI-CLASSIC STAKES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A decision to retain the semi-classic Trenthani Stakes and to incorporate it in the programme for the summer meeting was made by the stewards of the Wellington Racing Club yesterday. The race, which will replace the hack five '-furlongs on the third day, will again he over a mile, but this season the condition.; will include penalties, with a probable maximum of 101 b.. and allowances.
The programme except for this change will be the same as last. year.
