OVERDUE SCHOONER FRUITLESS SEARCH (Reed. Dec. .",, .'! p.m.) CANBERRA, Dec. :i. Not a trace has been found of the schooner Hermes.
The Administrator of New Guinea fears the worst, as a search by three vessels was fruitless.
A message from R'abnul last week said that anxiety was felt for the safety of the Adniinist ration's schooner Hermes, which was considerably overduo from Madtuig with three whites and 17 natives aboard.
