POVERTY BAY CLUB COMMITTEE MEETING A meeting of the committee of tho Poverty Bay Rowing Chili was held in the clubhouse last evening. Then' were.; present Alessrs. A. Kirk, chairman, \V. Glover, G. Ardent, 11. Duckworth, 11. Stevenson, J. Bacon, A. Jukes, I'. Neilson, Hi Warren, and It. Webb. Owing to a number of casualties, several replacements were necessary in Uie President's Fours crewa. F. Hay ward replaces Al. Vnrley in W. Glover's crew, C. Striythe replaces 0. Brotlie in .1. Bacon's crew, A. Poole replaces N. Harris in A, Richardson's crew, and J. Young replaces .1. Green in B. Stevenson's crew. There will now 1 e L 4 crews rowing in the President's Fours instead of 15, The iug-of-War team for Saturday has been slightly changed, and the members now are: W. Mc'Leod, K. Muir, G. lladwen, J. Bacon, F. Gardner, and 11. Warren. Mention was made of the tides receding past the' end of the concrete staging and making the launching of the boats at low water very Unpleasant. It was resolved to hold a working bee in the near future and to deposit sand at the foot of the staging. The crows for Saturday to compete in events against the Gishorne club are as follow: Seniors.—J. Bacon, str., W. McLeod, J. Barrett and M. Doyle. . Juniors.—R. Webb, str,, H. Warren, F. Gardner and R, Mitchell. Maiden.—R. Stevenson, str., K, Muir. W. Glover and 11, Duckworth. Lightweights.—G. Ardern, str., R. Neilson, T. Stevens, and F. Newman. Youths. —A. Richardson, str., R. Patty, T. Stevens and A. Poole.
