Mixed Doubles.—Second round : Undo and Mrs Letts defeated Donohoe and Miss Nicholls, 6-3, 2—l, (retired). Men's Doubles: Semi-finals : Crawford 'and MeCrath defeated Ferguson and Chrystal, 6—3, 8-6, 9—7; Quist and

Thompson defeated llopman and Kay, 11—9, 7 5. 7—5, Miss Nicholls started well against Miss Hartigan, tlie Australasian champion, and led 3—l before Miss Hartigan got her famous forehand working smoothly.
