ANTARCTIC FLIGHT PLAN

TESTS OF MACHINE TALKS WITH WYATT EARP NEW YORK. Nov. 14. A message from Mr. Lincoln Ellsworth at Dundee Island states: "To-day 1 made test flights separately with T. Holliek, Henon and James Lymburner, Canadian pilots. Both the operator and aeroplane performed excellently. "The snow surface is just right for the take-off, and constant radio communication was kept with the operator aboard the Wyatt Earp. The weather was good but local. At 3000 ft. altitude, visibility was limited by a hazy horizon. "There is a full complement of provisions and emergency trail equipment on the plane. There remains only a few last-minute navigation problems to put on paper for reference during the flight, after which we will be ready to start into the unknown. If the weather is good, we should be off the day after to-morrow."
