SPLENDID EXHIBITS HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY JUDGING COMPLETE There are some splendid exhibits in the Rose Show being held in the City Hall by the Poverty Bay Horticultural Society. Judging was completed this afternoon and the hall was thrown open .tQ-jftft paUic.: - The juage of the cnt flowers, Mr. W. J. Morris, said that several of the blooms in his section were spoiled by tho recent, vain, but. taken all through, it was quite a good exhibition. There were not as many spring flowers showing as expected. There was a great improvement in tne pansy class. The roses were of good quality, and the judge, Mr. E. Ca'lcott, said that on the wholo the season had favored these blooms. Worthy of special mention was Mr. R. G. Crawford's exhibit of 12 varieties, from which the two premier blooms were chosen. These were Mr. Crawford's Mrs. Charles Lamplongh irt the hybrid tea class, and the premier bloom in the pernetiana class was Ins Queen Alexander.
